September Morn

Commissioned as a Christmas gift for her husband, inspired by Neil Diamond's September Morn.

As the client told me, "I actually started going with him one September morning many moons ago..”

And, as it turned out, they both love Neil Diamond.

I love that my paintings can become part of someone's story, carrying memories, music and meaning for years to come.

Lyrics written in the painting:

"We danced until the night became a brand-new day

Two lovers playing scenes from some romantic play

September mornings still can make me feel that way."
