- With Ashes or Fur, A Lasting Tribute
Not just a pet. A soulmate. A companion.
I know that bond - the love that stays long after they’ve gone.
That’s why I offer custom pet portraits, with the option to include a tiny amount of your pet’s ashes or hair (additional cost).
If you choose this, I’ll guide you through sending just a small amount, which I’ll mix into the paint with the utmost care and respect.
The result is more than a portrait - it’s a keepsake that holds both their likeness and, if you wish, a physical part of them. Something you can see, touch, and treasure forever.
Whether you prefer a traditional portrait or one infused with ashes or fur, my goal is the same - to honour your beloved companion in a way that feels deeply personal to you.
For the pet who changed our life
In May 2021 hubby and I adopted a 2-month old kitten - Spooky - a longhaired domestic that had been rescued by the dedicated volunteers of Mississauga Humane Society. He was rescued along with his sisters and his mother. His sisters found their forever homes through the effort of Mississauga Humane Society, and his mother went to a foster home as she needed extra support. And Spooky settled down with us - his big round eyes, his spunky, rambunctious behaviour, soon won our hearts.
The love and on-going support from our volunteer contact over the months inspired me to think of ways I could help them cover some of their costs.
And there was only one way I could come up with to help - with my pet portraits.
